Sugar Cravings - What are they, why do we have them, and how to we get rid of them?!

Ah, those good old motherhood sugar cravings!

Man, they can really mess up our healthy game.

But have you ever considered that you don’t need to just live with them? Have you ever thought that you could have a peaceful relationships from those foods you ban from the house because you just can’t stop?

You can. It’s actually quite simple.

I get it, I have been there. Some days turns into a lot of days because you just NEED that triple venti mocha swirl with extra whip today because the baby was up all night and you deserve it goddammit because you are a grown ass woman that can do what she wants.

Or maybe you’re hungry because all you’ve had are leftover cold eggs for breakfast and you just want a pastry. It won’t ruin your healthy day, right? But then the blood sugar starts going wackadoo and you’ve waited to long to eat again, and then the day is lost to unhealthy choices. You can start again tomorrow…

Or maybe you even eat healthy all day and then all of a sudden Sue brings cupcakes to work or your kids want to make cookies, or you’ve made it to the couch after the kids finally get to sleep and all you want is sugar and more sugar and you’re headed down a rabbit hole full of getting that dopamine flowing with SUGAR. And it feels awesome! Until it doesn’t.

Sugar cravings happen and they are real, and there is ABSOLUTELY is something you can do about them.

You can regain control.
